Our new family quote on the chalkboard-I love it! Hopefully it reminds us (ok, me and maybe Rory if he even notices it changed) to be aware of the good parts of every day!
I love Charlotte's little look in this picture-when I went to get her up from her nap she kept hiding from me with her hand. lol I love how kids think you can't see them if they can't see you.
I made chocolate chip cookies last week (and cupcakes, and fudge...whew baking week! love those!), and Charlotte wanted the dough SO bad. She didn't understand that she had to wait...she she threw a little tantrum.
She was much happier when she got her cookie!
We went swimming last week with our friends the Saul's and the girls had a great time! Charlotte is fearless in the water, which is good and bad. She tried one of their puddle jumpers out and LOVED it. Sadie however is still leery of swimming and stayed on the steps.
We went to our library's story time for the first time last week and they both loved listening to the stories! I always feel a ton of pressure from the librarians to keep the kids quiet constantly...don't they realize that kids will be noisy? A little frustrating sometimes-and stressful...but the girls did pretty good and had a nice time.
Charlotte split her lip open on a lego house when we went to the Watson's for dinner Thursday-this girl cannot for the life of her, stop dinging up her face! lol. It's much better now.
We sent these two pics to Rory at work-the girls love doing that. I'm sure Rory loves getting them. haha!
We started a countdown chain to our Lance family Disneyland trip in a few weeks! We're all very excited...Sadie asks to talk about Disneyland pretty much every day.
This is the girls favorite place to play lately-in the tiny corner of the playroom-hehe!
Sadie built this pretty impressive house! Such focus....
Justin and Anna came down for the weekend and hosted a murder mystery dinner-it was a really fun one! I had no idea who did it but when we found out (Janae), I was like OHH YEAH....I should have realized that! haha. I played a Parisian socialite and we were all escaping the Nazis....so fun to dress up and I totally did an accent. I'm pretty sure I butchered it but it was fun nonetheless!
30 weeks! Getting there....
Charlotte fits in Sadie's old flower girl dress. Aw so cute! She calls it her pincess dess. :)
We all enjoyed ice cream cones and some texas sheet cake that I made at my Grandma's last night-enjoying some family time with visiting family-My uncle Lane, and Justin, Anna, and baby Luke. We all visited until past the girls bedtime and it was really fun!
