Easter

How was your Easter? Ours was great! Well, the egg hunt was great...we didn't take pictures of anything else and if you don't have a picture, it didn't happen, right? Well maybe not, but still. I'm lame when it comes to taking pictures on holidays-I'd much rather just have fun! I did manage to get pics of our egg hunt though.

Indoors, since it was sprinkling most of the morning.

Sadie has been in Easter egg hunt training for the past few months, so she got down to business collecting eggs..

 

..until she made a crucial discovery...these eggs had candy in them! WHA? So she got down to business eating candy.

Charlotte even managed to "find" an egg pretty quickly...it color coordinated with her dress. That's my girl.

Charlotte had fun hanging out with everyone-including Aunt Nae nae...wearing bunny ears...

and inadvertently finding the coveted "Golden Egg"! (which earns the finder a prize...this year a large chocolate bunny.

Truth be told, Jordan helped her find it by placing it in her hand, but she did get reeeally close by herself.

Finally, just have to show off my mom's new HUGEmungous table-it has 12 leaves! This is with 10 leaves...awesome, no?

We had Rayne, Dylan, and of course, Cassy over today for some play time, and the girls played really well in Sadie's room all by themselves. They were very quiet-that's always a sign that something's going on... Then Sadie came out with her flower girl dress on, and MANY many hair clips that Rayne had dressed her up with! Hilarious! What funny girls.

Well, almost nakey. I love a good nakey pic-something about that yummy baby skin just makes me want to gobble her up! 

Just look at those cute little rolls.  At what age do those become not-so-cute? darn.

Baby gets cell phone. Baby waves cell phone around triumphantly. Huzzah!

conference...gorgeous weather...yummy food...family=lovely.

To celebrate General Conference weekend (awesome, actually got to listen to most of both Sunday sessions!), spring, and the beginning of BBQ SEASON, (woohoo!) my family had a BBQ at their house today. The weather was spectacular, and many Lances, Christians, and one Marsden were in attendance.

Charlotte was having a great time being held, crawling around, eating...and other baby ish things.

 

Like getting lots of kisses on those squishable cheekies!!

Sadie had a great time swinging with Julia, playing Barbies with Julia, and other assorted Julia activities. She loves her Aunt!

Also, of course, running around on the trampoline. No bouncing on Sundays! (yeah like that worked)

After the DELISH brisket (oh my you are missing out if you've never had my Dad's brisket. Hea-ven!), we dug into some ice cream and chocolate cupcakes made by yours truly. Any excuse for a cupcake is fine by me. 

I just love warm evenings spent outside with family and cupcakes.
