just a few pics...

I love this picture-cute chubby baby legs, and two sisters playing together...what's better?

Oh, well a "pat" on the back is always nice. (more like "whack")

Nope, an ice cream mustache is even better!

in Grandma's backyard

Since Joanna and Cody were in town this weekend, we wrung out every last minute we could with them-including a joint birthday celebration for Justin and my uncle Shawn at Grandma's house. There's not much better than hanging out in their gorgeous backyard in cool summer evenings!

Charlotte had fun with everyone! Cody....

Joanna....

...and Uncle Justin! Flying IS the best way to travel.

Sadie had fun with, what else? Bubbles! She, like any other kid alive, is enamored with them.

and Tada! She can now blow them herself. hooray!

and some more cute pics of Justin and Charlotte. Aww!

"show" at OD's

This past Saturday the grown up girls in my family went out to lunch at our favorite spot, OD's, for a "show" or mini shower for Anna, my brother Justin's bride to be. We had some delicious lunch and played a fun game while we waited. My mom put various kitchen utensils in paper bags and we had to guess what they were! I won! I'm so competitive, hehe.

Anna opened some gifts from us, some kitchen towels and measuring spoons/cups from me, some cute plates, a basket, and yummy smelling lotion from my Grandma, and a George Foreman grill from my sisters and mom. Jealous! (of the grill, it looks like fun!)

We had such a nice time chatting and stuffing our faces with french fries. OD's has the BEST food around. yum!

two rapunzels!

My good friend Kim wanted to make a Rapunzel dress for her daughter Payton like the one I made awhile back, so she borrowed the dress to copy it, and I tried to help her make a pattern...but really she sewed this all on her own! Way to go Kim! (it was, I believe, her first dress!)

 Sadie and Payton look so cute, like little Rapunzel twins! I wish they still lived close by. Oh well. :}

just feel that summer breeze...

More like AC unit breeze. I babysat my good friend Aimee's kids yesterday while she worked and the kiddos had a blast together! Sadie and Gage are about 5 months apart and are cute little play buddies. They loved standing in front of our new AC  unit in the playroom!

I love Gage's face in this one! LOL.

Charlotte and Ben were content to sit on the couch....for about 1.2 minutes.

Then off to see something else! Ah, the life of a crawler! Gotta get into everything.

Gage really liked playing with this Darth Vader hat we have. He even sang the Vader march. Good work, Glen and Aimee. We're so proud.

Another funny moment that I didn't get a picture of was when Gage found our play frying pan and started swinging it around and saying,"I gotta get me one of these!" Just like Flynn Rider in Tangled. Sadie's doing it now too, and insisted on sleeping with her frying pan also. funny kids!
