sisterly love
I couldn't help dressing the girls alike today...I found the leggings and penguin shirts at Walmart and I couldn't resist!
Charlotte was nice enough to pose a little bit...
...and Sadie really liked the penguin's bow.
Then I got these sweet shots of the girls hugging....melt my heart!
awwww...

all smiles
Ok, so maybe Charlotte wasn't all smiles in this first shot. Both of my girls are not touchy feely or snuggly at all! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, because neither was I...oh well. Sadie's getting better and will snuggle with me while we're watching a movie. Anyways. Got a little off subject there.
The girls woke up early from their naps so we were enjoying some fall sunshine in the front yard! There was some great light so I got some adorable pictures.
OH my gosh Charlotte's teeth! lol. She got like 4 in one week recently! She looks like she's gonna chomp on you. Look out.
Or maybe lick you. Sadie's smile is very practiced, she's quite experienced in front of the camera, lol!
One of Sadie's favorite hairdos, the X. She called it the W today though. She's getting into getting her hair done and picking out her own outfits. Though her outfits usually look like she got dressed in the dark, it's pretty cute to see what she pairs together. She loves accessorizing too, as does Charlotte. Usually they both have a couple of necklaces and clippies on!

Party time!
So the week before Halloween was Sadie's best friend Rayne's birthday party! It was a Fancy Nancy party, and both Sadie and Charlotte had a blast! There were fancy things to dress up in, fancy bags, and fancy cupcakes.
There was also a stage, which Charlotte seemed to enjoy performing on. She does a little stomping dance that is adorable.
It wasn't long before there was a whole dance crew on stage! lol, kids are so funny!

Trick or Treating
We met our friends the Watsons at my parents house last night and commenced the tricking and treating for candy. We've been going up and down that street for so many years!
Rayne and Sadie were old pros, of course, so they led the way!
Charlotte was surprisingly determined however...and was cracking us up all night! She would drag her bag behind her (mostly because she wasn't tall enough to actually carry it), from house to house, you can see how focused she looks in this pic below. hehe!
A few times, she pushed her way past the other kids waiting and knocked right on the door! lol. Then when the people who lived there took too long she would turn around and leave. She had no patience for time wasters, lol....and she knew what she was doing.
Then once we got home, she tried raiding our candy to hand out-I think we have a sugar crazed kiddo on our hands...she must get it from Rory.
MORE CANDY!!!! wahhh!
We actually did get some trick or treaters which was nice! In previous years we've been gone at parties or whatever. The last two we got we gave them each a huge handful and they were HAPPY. ;)
After we went out the Watsons came over and the kids played for another hour and a half! The girls don't see each other as much anymore since Rayne is in kindergarten, so they were in heaven! We resolved to do family dates more often!
Happy Halloween!
