there's always lots to do at the park...

...like swinging. That takes up at least 20 minutes. Fun for both girls! Fun for me because all I have to do is stand there and push them every so often.

Until they want to play underdog...then rest time for mom is over.

...look at Sadie being so ladylike! how cute.

Plus there's exploring to do...gotta make sure to secure the area...Charlotte likes to explore we found out, after she took off after a dog..."Gog! Gog!" and also a squirrel..."Gog! Gog!"

And Sadie loves playing house with Gage-she asked him what he wanted for dinner. LOL.

Pool playdate

You know, for a long-time blogger.... I forget my camera when we go out 9 times out of 10. BAD mommy. Thanks, Kim, for these pictures from playdate last week! It topped 100 degrees for about a week, so some pool time was in dire need. The water felt great, and the kids had a blast floating around in various flotation devices.

Sadie (sitting in the pink floaty) was happy to float around the pool and play with pool toys...

...Charlotte on the other hand, (lil Miss Independent) wanted nothing more than to cover the entire perimeter of the pool....about a dozen times.

Thank goodness for awesome momma friends who were willing to play with and watch Sadie while I followed Miss Walker around. (can you tell I like calling her "Miss" nicknames? I do.)

Dylan and Sadie

We are really close to the Watson family, since the moms (Cassy and I) and the dads (Rory and Chris) are best friends. It's only natural that the kiddos are close too! Since Rayne is now in Kindergarten, Sadie doesn't get to see her as much, so she and Dylan are becoming little pals.

Or maybe more...? ;)

Arranged marriage, anybody? Although Sadie is also getting married in the temple to Gage, so she tells me.  She likes to play the field.

They were so cute at the park the other day, walking around hand in hand. Charlotte was keen on following them-since she's started walking up a storm, she never wants to be left behind!

So she was a bit of a third wheel on their "date".

aw! cute hugs.

I think Sadie was trying to go in for a kiss there....

just playin' around

Yikes, Charlotte already knows how to accessorize herself. We're in for it when she's a teenager.

AND she knows how to check her email? geez!

Sadie's responsibly giving her baby a bath, but I don't know if the stove is the best place for baby to sit while the water warms up.

Totally unrelated-but here's our new growth chart! cute, huh?

when we're helping we're happy...

Our faucet got unscrewed a little the other day and so was leaking underneath the sink-a lot! grr. We hate our faucet. Rory started soaking up the water with sponges, and the girls hopped right in to help. Sadie was a good little helper-we didn't even ask her to!

Of course, her Cinderella dress might have been a little more appropriate for mopping the floors, but whatcha gonna do?

Charlotte wasn't much help-mostly she liked standing in front of Rory's way....

...but she is darn cute, so we forgave her.
