Charlotte wants to be just like her big sis.
Sadie went camping overnight with my parents-this has become something of a tradition, and she LOVES it. Talks non stop about it beforehand, and then has me make up stories about camping for weeks afterwards. I'm sure this time will be no different!
She had a blast playing in the dirt in her PJ's (apparently she snuck in an extra pair...lol she did pack herself mostly!), eating smore's, and blowing dandelions.
Charlotte was very glad to have her sister back though! (we enjoyed the day being sibling fight-free...ahh the quiet...)
We had cake and ice cream to celebrate my cousin's birthday, and the girls sat just like this while they ate their treats. They are the cutest little friends! I can't wait to add another girl to the equation. (I should probably be worried, I know...)
sidenote: The sky was gorgeous that night!
Sadie climbed in Charlotte's crib, so of course, Charlotte followed...and a crib fort was built! (and torn down by Charlotte standing up...and rebuilt by mom... and torn down by Charlotte standing up...and rebuilt by mom... and torn down by Charlotte standing up...and rebuilt by mom...you get it.)
At the park the other day there was a guy driving around a remote control car that Charlotte was enthralled with...she couldn't take her eyes off it!
Well maybe she did for one second to show off her cute shades.
My lil partners in...everything! PLaying with their My Little Ponies...Sadie was probably making up an adventure for one of them.
Today during their bath, Sadie propped her feet up on the side, and of course Charlotte had to do the same! Love this pic so, so much!
We also painted up a storm today! Which they both loved. We were making decorations for Sadie's party in a few weeks.
So fun!
Bedtime obviously means leaning over on your head, right? This was yet another follow the leader moment. Ah love these silly girls!

more summer fun...
eating lots of ice cream sandwiches....delicately...so as to make the biggest mess possible. of course.
...showing off their upside down skillz. Impressive.
Sadie and I went out for Fro-yo the other day during Grandma School. (which means my grandma and mom babysit once a week and play with the kids and I get kid-free errand running time!) We decided to let the girls have some time with Great Grandma by themselves, so I took Charlotte this week for her turn. I knew I'd have to make our outing just as fun, so we got some froyo, new sunday shoes, and a My Little Pony book at Barnes and Noble. (I also got Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Killer/Slayer....whatever the title is.)
Needless to say she can't wait til the next time. Oh darn...is habitual froyo consumption bad?
Charlotte's hair is sooo curly lately! And very blonde.
We've been enjoying the summer fruit season-the girls LOVE mangoes!
At "regular" Grandma school this week (aka not Great Grandma...lol)...they splashed around in the wading pool and had a blast!
Sliding on the little slide was tops!

Summertime and babies
Summertime means...lots of playtime with friends! Or so you'd think. We hadn't seen the Sauls in forever due to various illnesses, so they came over to play this week, and Charlotte seemed to make it her mission to entertain little Penny..bringing her toys and touching her arm and talking to her. Talk about flipping adorableness.
...warm afternoons spent eating apples and car watching. Every car Charlotte sees is "Yeyow car!". Yep we're working on her colors. She's got orange down pat.
Baby #3 and belly are growing and collecting threads as you can see! I have been sewing up a storm for her nursery! I can't wait to see how it comes together! I'm 23 weeks this week, so over halfway! Although barely...but I'll take every week I can get! I'm feeling pretty good and loving feeling her kicks!
Charlotte has graduated to drawing circles! She's so proud of herself! As am I of course. Because of course, this means she's a genius.
A genius who prefers pushing the tricycle. Eh can't win 'em all.
These pics just about melt my heart! I can't wait to add another sister to the mix. We are SO excited for another girl!
Wouldn't you be excited to see another cute face like these? I'm biased I know, but they are adorable little munchkins and we love them so much!
just a few...
Just few pics this week...we went to Johnny Carino's the other night (our favorite spot to carbo load), and Charlotte was just too cute coloring.
Their kids meal came with a scoop of ice cream (the server was super nice and brought them both one even though they shared a meal)...and it was the biggest scoop ever. I mean hello! It's like the size of C's head! (and she has a 90th percentile size head...so yeah it's big.) She did her best to make a dent in it. Even Sadie the sugar queen couldn't eat all of hers!
Rory and I went out on the town to see the local production of The Wizard of Oz, which my sister and mom were in. It was a great production-very professional including flying wires and such, but our poor bums were numb by the end. My advice for the theater: invest in some better cushioning in your chairs!
Justin and Anna came down last week for the Fourth, and brought baby Luke! I stole him right off the bat and kept stealing him all week. He's so tiny! You forget how tiny they are when they're new. Such a good boy too, and the girls were in love with him. They are excited for a new baby sister to poke at and hug.
Mainly poke at, I'm sure.
