Charlotte @ 8 months

She's close to waving! and can you spot the teeth? She rolls everywhere, and scoots around backwards pretty well. She still like wiggling her bottom in the air in hopes that it will help her crawl. She does get up on her hands and knees, and likes to stand up with support.

She's also working on four upper teeth. What an over achiever. ;) She is (FINALLY) sleeping through the night better. It only took 8 months, but whatever. We were spoiled with Sadie cause she slept through the night from 6 weeks old on.

valentine's play date

 I hosted a valentine's play date and exchange today for Sadie and Charlotte's friends, and it was so fun! The kids are so cute and though it got crazy at times with so many, it was a lot of fun! (See more decorations on my craft blog)

I took some family pictures for our friends the Watsons the other day-we've been friends since before we were all married to our respective spouses, so we go back a loong ways! (Rory and Chris went to High school together. So waaay back. lol. just kidding guys)

Every week we have park day with our local friends, and usually meet up with Sadie's best friend Rayne. (incidentally, her mom and I are best friends too) (we forced them to become best friends, lol)

an afternoon in the life of Sadie and Charlotte

First off, gotta go get Baby Charlotte up from her nap! Sadie loves this. Especially shaking the swing maniacally. BC, not so much. ;)

 Then it's off the playroom with a healthy snack chocolate granola bar for Sadie, wooden cookie for Charlotte.

C would rather have the real stuff, can you blame her?

Oh well, back to gnawing on the cookie. She sure does love her wooden delicacies.
