Disneyland Lance Reunion!

On our way to Disneyland! We had a Lance family reunion last week and had a blast! I was worried about how my 33 week preggo body would handle it, and after tweaking my back I was in a lot of pain...luckily it went away after sleeping on the hotel bed (weird!), and I was raring to go! The girls did great on the drive, we caravaned down with Janae a day early and after a freak car scare that Rory fixed easily, we got there and headed into the park!

talking to my Dad about the car.

Yay! we're here! And melting! It was sooo hot! and humid.

We of course made a beeline for Sadie's favorite rides...the carousel, dumbo, and teacups.

PLus some Small world...for the AC alone it was worth it, plus I kind of like that ride!

Even Charlotte got into the Disney spirit with her Minnie ears!

The next morning we headed into the parks in the morning, hitting up Bug's Land (another fav), and Charlotte met Flik! Sadie would have nothing to do with him, in fact she sprinted for the stroller and climbed in in about 2.5 seconds. She likes the characters...just from afar!

Charlotte wasn't a fan of the ladybug ride, it rocked her around a bit.

Sadie LOVES the spinning rides. You cannot go fast enough on the teacups with her. Srsly.

She also loves the bumper cars. Who doesn't?

Then we finally met up with the rest of the fam! The girls of course were in love with their cousin Evelyn!

Such cute girls!

Add in baby Luke and you've got yourself the first Lance cousin picture! Awww they're adorable!

Some more carousel....of course.

This time the boys hopped on too.

 lol

I love Disneyland at night!

the new front of CA adventure!

The next day included more...carousel!! goodness.

Cool benches in CA adventure.

A french fry snack makes a fab mustache, too.

Lovin' on her cousin. Or...grabbing her, one of the two.

Saturday night we all had dinner at a BBQ place in Disneyland, which was a blast! Charlotte loves her corn. She ate like 5 pieces, no joke.

We caught some of the parade!

So cute! All the kiddos straining to see their favorite characters. Sadie was in heaven! Charlotte loved seeing Tiana.

Wiped out on the way home. Phew! What a trip! Hopefully I'll get more pics from my Dad soon, I'm sure he took some that I'm actually in. ;)

happenings

All end of summer BBQ's must have corn on the cob!

and cute boy cousins. Sadie wants to marry Luke, I'm pretty sure.

Sadie started ballet lessons last week, and after a mini meltdown, she LOVES it. (she was worried about  meeting new kids, poor thing gets anxious about the unknown. Can't blame her for that!)

I was a bit unprepared while we waited for her the first week, so Charlotte had fun with my stash of band aids. Hey-it kept her happy, right?

The girls were ecstatic over their new matching PJ's. Thank you cheapo PJ's from walmart.

Sadie has memorized one of her favorite books and "reads" it to us...adorable!

Charlotte has perfected my grimace. hehe!

Sadie loves to feel the baby kick, it's so sweet!

I can't get enough of Sadie's little drawings-love her fingernails-painted oh so colorfully!

I also love how her letters get bigger as she goes. I guess I should try to correct that, but it's so darn cute!

She's such a sweetie pie when she sleeps-I love how she gets her bear a pillow every  night and he's always by her side. ;)

The other day she disappeared into her room and was quiet, so of course I went to check on her. (cause when it's quiet you know something's going on, right?) Not this time. She had put herself down for a nap. Charlotte was up from hers already, so we had some one on one time, which was nice!

She had fun pounding away at this ball toy, and cracking me up with her new quizzical look.

I just love my girlies! Can't wait to add another one to the mix!

Janae brought over some chalk and drew this cute pic of Sadie and Charlotte in princess dresses. Love C's hair, and how she's peeking out from behind Sadie!

Yesterday was the morning from Hades. Sadie has been showing signs (I thought) of a UTI so I took her in to see the doctor. They said they needed to test her urine so hooray! I had to get a 4 year old to pee in a cup. yeah right. I also needed to take my preggo glucose test, so we did that while we were there. The kids did great waiting, but the four times I tried to get Sadie to pee were awful. A combined hour and a half of sitting on a gross doctor bathroom floor (sitting on paper towels, but still), trying to convince her to pee, and Charlotte flailing around the bathroom because she was bored....yikes. Not fun. We finally were successful after a prayer was said, and then after getting my blood drawn for the test, we headed to In n' Out. Mama needed it.

Oh, yeah. The test came out negative. :{
