play date at Kim's

I know, great picture of Sadie, right? lol. My bad. We had a play date at Kim's this week and the weather was gorgeous! After lunch the kids and moms all headed out (minus napping Charlotte) for some fun games!

Kim had some balloons to hit around-that was fun. The best moment was when Sadie's popped and she put her hands on her hips and pouted. Hilarious!

We also played red light green light!

I love Aimee's face in this one-she's trying to get Sadie to run. She's not the best at following directions unless she wants to. Stubborn redhead!

They had some fun with a bean bag toss too-you can see Sadie's red one flying through the air here. Didn't make it of course, but she had fun!

laundry and piggy tail braids

Lately this girl loves to help me with the laundry. She grabs a shirt, balls it up, and adds it to her pile, then continues with the rest. "Mommy I do dis one?" over and over again....too cute.

She is also really into me doing her hair lately-piggy tail braids are the fav. She doesn't always sit still, which is why they look a little wonky-but darling nonetheless!

happy day! the spa is gone!

Yayayayay! Our loser of a spa is gone-thanks to some HARD work by Rory, and my dad and brother too. Thank you guys for helping! Rory went at it with a saw thingy and tore it to bits. (obviously) We had debated keeping it, but not for long. We wouldn't have used it much and it took up the majority of our cement little porch. (please ignore our white trash air conditioner set-up)

Can't wait to put a BBQ on there!

So, playing with the girls in the play room this morning got me some funny pics. Charlotte gnawing on a Storm Trooper arm...(tasty!) poor thing is still teething like no other.

...and Sadie holding her doll upside down with her legs to put clothes on her. Funny thing is, I think she's copying me, I'm pretty sure I do that when dressing the dolls.

Not Charlotte. Promise.
